Megan and Fred celebrated their wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, New Jersey. From getting ready and portraits to the ceremony and reception, the day was filled with genuine moments, family, and an incredible celebration.

The Estate at Florentine Gardens is a beautiful wedding venue in Bergen County, combining elegant indoor spaces with landscaped gardens and outdoor areas that work especially well for wedding portraits.

For Megan and Fred, we used the grounds of Florentine Gardens for a mix of relaxed couple portraits and more editorial photographs while leaving plenty of room for the day to unfold naturally.

My approach throughout the wedding was primarily documentary. Rather than constantly directing what was happening, I focused on real interactions, reactions, and the small moments between the couple and their families. During dedicated portrait time, we shifted toward a more refined editorial approach while keeping the photographs natural and timeless.

One of the advantages of photographing a wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens is the variety available in one location. The gardens, architecture, reception spaces, and changing light throughout the day make it possible to create very different photographs without taking the couple away from their guests for long periods of time.
