Most couples I work with haven’t done a professional photoshoot before. That’s completely fine — and honestly, it’s one of the reasons I love engagement sessions. There’s no audience, no schedule, no pressure. Just the two of you.
We’ll pick a spot that feels right. Central Park if you want green and space. West Village for quiet streets and brownstones. DUMBO for skyline and light. The Met steps if you want something grand without being inside. I’ve shot at all of them, and I’m happy to suggest what works best for the time of year and time of day.
The session itself runs about an hour. I give light direction — where to stand, how to move – but I’m not going to pose you into something stiff. The goal is to get you comfortable with each other and with me, so that by your wedding day, we already know how to work together.
You’ll receive 80-120 edited photos within two weeks. All high-resolution, all yours to share, print, and use for save-the-dates
